We have all done it.
Looked at pictures from the event before and wondered what the HELL we were thinking with that outfit. You had spent hours in front of the mirror just looking at yourself and it looked great. In fact you had asked your friends their opinion and even they had said that those pants totally went with those shoes.
But pictures do not lie.
Its no secret that when celebrities are getting ready for an event or when a stylist is a dressing a client cameras are always a part of the process.
So the tip for the day and trust me this is now a part of my everyday getting dressed process take out your digital camera and take a few quick pictures.
This will help and tell you if the colors you are wearing are washing you out. If you happen to be wearing a sheer top it will tell you just how sheer it is. Even if you have a full length mirror the camera offers a different perspective.
Dont do just shots from the front ask a friend to take a picture of you from the side and back. You need to see the full look.
I know it may seem tedious but its so easy now to pull out your digital camera and see the result instantly. So take the 14th time you pose in front of mirror to pose in front of the camera.
Once you have chosen your outfit, all of the accessories, hair and make-up take another picture and see if any tweaking has to be done.
The great thing is if you are going out to meet friends or maybe something a little more formal you know no matter what you will be camera ready.
