Last week I was wearing my favorite leopard print sweater and a friend of mine told me that she could never wear leopard print. I was shocked. She plainly told me that she usually associates the print with Peg Bundy (Married with Children)...you know a little on the slutty side.

I believe that there is a fine line between slutty and classy leopard print, but you can easily stay on the safe side without sacrificing any of the fun. So when someone declares that they think all leopard print is slutty. I just shake my head at the notion and blog about it.

So if you are anything like me, leopard print has been slowly but surely making its presence known in your closet. Thank you Santa for bringing me some leopard print gifts to add to my collection, love you.

I have discovered that there is a right and wrong way to wear the print. In this case less is always more.

The mini leopard print dress is always a go in my book. I find the most important thing is the cut of the dress. I like it above the knee but not hugging my bum. The print already offers a sexy tone that you don't have to hike it up. What I particularly like about Halle Berry's dress is that it gives the illusion that its showing more than it actually is. She's sexy... period.

SJP is wearing her leopard print in my favorite way, as an accessory. I have scarves, shoes, earrings, gloves, tights.. .. I feel like leopard print used as an accessory offers more than just sexiness but adds a playfulness to your outfit. I love all of my accessories and would love too wear them all at once but I have learned that too much of a good thing can be wrong on so many levels.

Now you see what I mean. The prints just clash against each other and the whole look just drowns.

My second favorite way in wearing the leopard print look is when I go out. If you decide not to wear a mini dress then make like Theodora and Astrid, just rock a touch of leopard print and wahla it takes your outfit from fun to sexy.

How do you wear your leopard print?

I am not really a big fan of leopard prints, I don't think I could pull it off, nor do I think I want to, lol!

Some people can pull it off, but it is not my taste. Animal prints in general is not something I feel comfortable wearing.

But I don't associate it with something slutty, an outfit is what you make it to be, so if you feel pretty wearing your leopard print, then you should wear it, because feeling pretty is a lovely feeling. ;)

I think I personally would fall in the SJP route right now-- in my accessories (especially shoes!). However, I think with a bit of weight loss, I could see myself doing it in bottoms.. a playfully cut skirt or pants.

Thanks for your comment, dear! I'm glad you found me so I could, in turn, find your blog!
