What do you think of when someone says Midriff? I tend to instantly think of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and not House of Holland or Prada.
I have never been a big fan, but maybe I would think differently if I had some abs that I actually wanted to show off. That would require actually excerising everyday and who wants to do that?
I do like how Prada classes up the look, but is it enough to get me to the gym.. hmmm... not really!
It's not that I am ashamed of my body or that I am lazy, its just that my mom brainwashed me into believing the old saying that less is more. Also, its cold in Seattle and if you have ever walked down first avenue on a spring day, you would understand why your belly would never see the light of day.

Never ever in my life will I even attempt to rock this trend - it wouldn't be fair to unleash that upon the world! It's only for the brave and washboard! x
oh god no...I pretty much ate junk food all day long. I like the large oversized layered look.
ergh. Britney and Christina have forever ruined the look, though i do think it can be pulled off if done right. Let's just hope it doesn't experience a huge revival in that teen girls walk around, because really, it is NOT a trend that suits everyone.

Years ago, in the bare midriff phase, I was sitting down at a party, nose-to-navel with every chick's belly. Let me tell you, no matter how perfect the abs, you don't want to be that close to a stranger's stomach. So gross.
