RULES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN!

Photobucket

I have to admit that this picture captivated me. The colors are just so vibrant and brilliant that it all just works together. Yes! in reality purple, blue, and silver sequined shoes with a bright pink and black bag should equal no way. This takes reality and twists it in a beautiful way. The past few weeks I have been taking the rule of the bag should match the outfit and throwing it out the window. Sometimes the color clash makes the outfit from average great to awesome great. I reccommend - before deciding that purse or those shoes would never go, try them on and take a risk. It just may work for you.

I totally agree...sometimes accidents make the best outfits.

You're exactly right. What's the worst that'll happen? It looks bad and you have to spend 5 minutes changing? :)

I need the weather to get nicer so I could wear rolled up jeans with heels. I love the way it looks with a cardigan and one of my low v-necks. Will it ever be summer in seattle?!?

I completely agree. Matchy = fussy and I don't like fussy at all.

i love experimenting with colours too. The first pic looks good because bright colours have been combined. And the bag is actually back with red patterns, not the vice-versa.

Betsy J. - These are the kind of rules that I dont feel bad for breaking.

Brook&lyn - I agree, a lot of lifes accidents always work out for the best.

Najeema- Exactly, there are worst things in life.

Sara- That's a question that I am afraid will never be answered.

Alicia - Fussy = pain in my arse!!!

Freya - Exactly. Remember Nelly Furtado the first album she was a mish mash of bright colors but it worked because they were all bright.

Wow, I think you and I may be psychic.

I don't usually download pics from any of the street style blogs, but I definitely have both of these in an inspiration folder. Great pics!

It would never in a million years occur to me to wear sequin shoes during the day. So glamourous!
