I loved this editorial as a whole, but this picture was my favorite because it took me back to elementary school, when buttons were the coolest thing. Yes, I had the jean jacket that had big buttons, small buttons with sayings that to be perfectly honest I didn't really understand. It was the competitiveness in me. I had to have more and cooler buttons then Julie Stanton, she already had the blond curls I wanted, she couldn't have more buttons than me too.

I think I still have the jacket somewhere, it still may fit me because it was also cool to wear everything two sizes too big. I won't wear it, but I just want to look at it for sentimental reasons.

HAHA! This is the cutest post ever. So would you bring the buttons back? :)

Nikyta: I had the cap too, the weird kind with the elastic. Oh and the buttons, it may have hurt my head but I looked good.

Agentnoir: Hmm? Would I bring them back. I don't think I would look as good as Daria, but I wouldn't rule it out.

You've got to find that jacket! :)

Yes, the Cole Haan Nike's really add 4" and I swear I was on my feet for hours at the rock show with no problem, and I'm usually a wuss when it comes to high heels hurting my feet. It's something about the slope of the shoe, I don't know... but they really are super comfortable.

I <333 this.
I used to have a painters cap covered in newkids badges, garfield pins and other 80s pop cuteness.

nice blog.

Weird. I was just thinking about the buttons/pins the other day. I wouldn't be surprised if they came back again...
