I like to over do it, am not ashamed to admit. Jewelry, well I just can't say no too it. So when I saw the fashion photos below they definitely inspired me. This silver necklace is straight from my mom's jewelry box, best place to find great things in my opinion. I love it, but I've realized that the best look for me is a long necklace.

As a petite girl its always important to find ways to elongate your body. Anything that cuts your body in anyway is a definite don't! So in order to still wear this silver masterpiece, but not make me look any shorter, I took the satin belt from a pair of dress shorts and tied it to my necklace.

It worked out perfectly. I still got to wear this amazing, even though a little heavy necklace and not feel like I was any shorter than I am. The bow tails kept the eye moving transforming the silver necklace into a flattering piece, rather than an all wrong look.

Here are some fashion pictures that inspire me to not leave the house without a necklace. I hope they do the same for you.

From one petite girl to another, I concur with wearing long necklaces! I love the satin bow around the necklace! Very cute!

I don't like leaving the house sans neckwear - my new fave is layered necklaces. I love how you layered that bow over the original piece.

I so agree with you on the love for necklaces! Why do you think a shorter strand cuts the body off? Just curious b/c I'm quite the shortie as well!
