BEACH GLAMOUR: MILLA BRINGS THE FANTASY TO LIFE!

Everyday we are getting closer and closer to summer, its especially noticeable with the onset of bathing suit ads bombarding you wherever you go. Some of them are so cheesy and half naked. That's why it was a breath of fresh air to see this editorial pulled out of the folds of fashion editorials past. Milla is by far one of my favorite models and she makes a day at the beach look glamorous, instead of all about sun tan lotion and a towel that gets too sandy.

The Seattle sun is definitely teasing me, but I know better. The summer dress won't be coming out of the closet until June or July, but in the meantime this editorial will be on my wall of inspiration.

I love that first swimsuit! It's so retro - I'm desperate for a retro swimsuit this summer.

I'm bummed I won't be able to make your event - I have a stupid midterm. Or else I would be all over a spa night.

Indeed she does - make it look easy and breezy, that is. Me? I am still shaking sand from towels. Sweeping it off bathroom floors and the beach look is more dimpled thighs and trashy novels than svelte legs and vintage reading.

I love all of those looks. This summer I want to see some throwback swim suits on girls. They're great for styling on a daily basis when you're not going to the beach!

I have to say, I've been loving her style more and more, as she's had more creative freedom to really helm her own fashion ship. She's so distinctive, with a confident voice in her looks, so even if it's not something you'd personally wear, you respect her choices.
