Is it weird that I've never owned a trench coat in my life? Especially since I do love the look and with this editorial done by Vogue China it's almost impossible not to crave one. It truly can take you through all situations and from flirty to sophisticated. It certainly is a timeless piece and it may just be the time for me to finally get my hands on one!
After looking at this editorial I wondered how I ever lived without one. My favorite look is the open trench with the belt.

You simply must get one! They are beautiful things.. I own like 3 of them haha. I do wish there were somewhere you could learn how to tie the trench's belts so artistically though :p
The cropped styles are inspired -- I gotta say, the first one (shiny, of course) caught my Magpie eye. So beautiful, you could wear it like a dress, and I like the soft sheen. Not garish at all. I have two printed trenchcoats and I wish I could tie them with jaunty aplomb; they always just look like I knotted it with haste!
