I never thought I would say this, but I am looking for an apartment in which I will live alone. I could have sworn 5 yrs ago that I would never be in this place. As a social person I’ve always loved having roommates, thankfully Ive had good luck in that department. But now am at that age where I really want a space of my own. Little did I know how exciting this can be..

I’ve been skimming some of my favorite interior design blogs, magazine sites and online window shopping like crazy. I get more and more excited and inspired every day. I am not looking to move until October, but as a person who could pack everything she owns – well not the clothes – in a few bags I am really trying to figure out what my home style is..I would like to share this with you.

So what do you think of one post a week of my quest to find out what my home style is? Fill out the poll and let me know. Even though its my name at the top I like to think that this is our blog and I want to know what you think!

Style inspiration can be found everywhere! Home decoration would be interesting. I love hearing about fabrics, color schemes, and style motifs!

I also loved living with flatmates ... good times. But, that said, loved my time living solo. It was a really grounding time. Living with your own silence can be confronting but also really sweet - and it's not forever, so enjoy. I now live in a household where I so rarely get a moment of silence. The fam's away for two nights and it's been bliss. They're back tonight and already I am planning for a noisy, messy dinner.
