SKINNY BELT AWESOMENESS - NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THIS BUT YES!

Yes Scarlet is sexy, but she really couldn't have been pulled this look off without the skinny belt. I didn't use to be such an advocate for the skinny belt or any belt for that matter. In fact I would be sure just to by pass that section in the store altogether. Why give something that made me look bad the time of day? I thought belts were for skinny girls who had no curves what so ever, but now I realize I just didn't know how to wear them. Here are some inspired street style looks that just proves that with pants, a dress - fancy or casual or even shorts - a belt can do an outfit good!

Can you see the commonality between all of these looks? They don't take themselves too seriously, it has an effortless dynamic that makes it all work. What do I mean by that? Make sure that the outfit is comfortable, loose and the key part, which took me forever to get - just because there's 8 holes on the belt doesn't mean you have to use them. The loose belt look does a lot more for your body and the outfit then you would think.

Here are some belts that made it on to my wish list.

lovely! I am pretty much a wide belt girl, but you've inspired me to check out some of the sleeker skinny belt styles.

I'm personally a fan of belts, they help change the tone of an outfit completely, as you said for Scarlet :D Glad you've come over to the cinched side ;)
