Nails Obsession Realized: I Didn't Know I Had a Problem.

Is it a problem? Let me give you a little back story.... I bite my nails. It didn't start out of the blue, its been going on for years. Let's just say I blame X-files. The show was scary, but my love for Fox Mulder didn't let me turn away. Since I couldn't help myself, my nails suffered. Then I couldn't stop Felicity, Dawson's Creek, Unsolved Mysteries, all of these shows caused me to bite my nails, year after year. It wasn't pretty and I had to make a change... What I am trying to say? I have fake nails.

I think most of you already know this, but I am officially writing it. The number one thing to remember when having fake nails is just because they're fake they don't have to look it. Shape is so important. I've gone with the oval shape making sure the nail technician files them down. The tip of the nail is not the only part that should be filed, the sides shouldn't have any skin hidden by the nail. Also, have fun with them.

This past year I stopped hiding them and my obsession became full blown.

Yes, they were glowing in the black light.

I don't think I will be going back to french tip manicures anytime soon.  It's not risky, its not permanent and you can change it as often as you would like... as you can see I take the latter quite seriously.

I've taken my summer obsession and made it into a fall passion.

My secrets out and I couldn't be happier.
