Then I took the plunge myself and cut off 10 inches of hair.. easily best hair decision Ive made in a long time. The only thing is - short hair doesn't give you a lot of options for styling. Pretty much all you have is your bangs. Yes, not all bangs are created equal. They can change up a look with just the slightest snip. Thanks to Leigh, Freja, Jennifer, Alexis and Christina - I can illustrate a few bang styling options. Which one do you like?
One snip can change your look from Mod princess, to bohemian beauty or sophisticated starlet. I really recc'd speaking to your stylist about the look you are going for. Also mention your lifestyle. Some bang styles require more upkeep then others.
I am usually up for trying every kind of style. Bangs grow so fast that any style can be changed within a few weeks of growth. What I have learned - I can't live with the bangs that land on your eye lid. Not only is it hard to see, but I can't help but move them to the side - I prefer them to land at my eyebrow.

Yes, I have bangs and I like them! I have to trim them pretty often, but I've learned to do it myself, and it's not that hard.
I don't like them too short or too long though, so it does take some upkeep to keep them just right.
