Never Say Never: This Fashion Girls First Hike.

There are many things in life that we do for the first time, but as we get older that list seems to dwindle. You may even think that you've done everything at least once... Well at least the things that matter.

This weekend I went hiking for the first time. You may find that hard to believe because of my Seattleness, but it's true. My parents were never one for the great outdoors, so I am a city girl through and through.  But when a close group of friends suggested a morning hike, I couldn't find a reason not to do it.

This is the part you may think I start going on about what to wear on a hike. Well, I had to ask my friends because I had no idea. I was at a loss.

I Made It! And a group shot with @girlandcoconut, @choosepun & @Jessestrada
What I learned from my 4 mile hike is that this was one of those moments in life where the color of your shoes, the size of your ring or your on trend shorts doesn’t matter.

It’s all about the company you keep and the satisfaction of making it to the summit. I can’t explain what I felt when I looked over the edge of Rattlesnake Ridge.
All I know is that I want to do it again.

Also, I’m not a know it all. I haven’t done everything for the first time. There are still many things left to do.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?
