Is this happening!? Yes!
I don't know how many conversations I've had about putting on a conference for Seattle Style Bloggers - so many and for more years than I can count. Well, I've stopped talking about it.
It's 2016 and it's finally happening.
I can hardly believe it, but I've been in the blogging game for about 7 years - SEVEN YEARS! I had no idea that I would be spending my days and nights behind a computer writing my thoughts, my fashion crushes, sharing actual pictures of outfits for so many years of my life. But if I can be honest that time has passed in a flash. What started as something fun to do has turned into one of the best parts of my life.
Yes, I get to work with amazing brands, get invited to some pretty cool events, but at the heart of it has been the community. The amazing people I've had a chance to meet have become some of my closest friends. They support and inspire.

That's why Stylish In Seattle is so important to me. When I first started blogging the Seattle style blogger community was super small. It's been amazing to see the number of bloggers grow. I see new faces at every event. And one thing I know better than anyone is that these bloggers work hard. I know they devote time and money into their blogging life. It's more than just posing and posting. It's research, its hours behind the computer, all of this after they get off their daytime job. But at the heart of it, a lot of these bloggers would love to make it their full-time job. I would love to blog during regular business hours. It's just hard to make that leap. I've read countless articles on it, traveled to conferences in New York and LA for any insight. I always walked away inspired, but still clueless. A lot of conference were 101 subjects - how to write a blog post, platforms you should use, etc. It was time for a NEXT LEVEL Conference.
That's why it was important for me to help Stylish In Seattle come to life. Sydney of Gossip and Glamour and I wanted to create an event for bloggers who are ready to take their blog to the next level. I especially wanted to have a panel about turning your blog into a business. I affectionately call it the Do What You Love panel. It's amazing to think that the business of blogging is a real thing. Seven years ago, I had no idea that the blogosphere would be a platform to pursue and attain dreams.
We're working hard to make it a great event. So, if you're a Style Blogger in or around Seattle we hope to see you there.
