How My Misfit Watch Is Helping Me Keep Fit

I'll tell you the truth, I've had this watch for awhile. A few months ago I took it off. I was stressing about work, doing side projects and it was the holidays - the last thing I wanted was a watch that told me that I wasn't exercising. But fast forward a few months later, and I'm ready. I'm ready to get my butt in gear and work it.
I always do better with an accountability partner, and that's what the Misfit watch has become for me. I set it, so it vibrates when I've been sitting too long. As a freelancer and blogger, I can lose track of time and sit for hours on end. I know this is bad for my health - especially my mind. I noticed that when I give myself a break from staring at the computer that I always come back to my work with a freshness that improves my overall productiveness. It also tracks my steps and with my self-imposed challenge of achieving 10,000 steps at least 4 days a week - I know my Misfit watch is going to help me stay on track. But this baby does more than just track my steps, it tracks other exercises, and since I'm such a yogi, I can also log those workouts. I also love the fact that it looks like a watch.

I love wearables, I've had a few, but this one doesn't clash with my outfits. It doesn't stand out or take away from my overall look. It also has a few tricks that I use a lot. I can change my Spotify songs without having to touch my phone. It also helps me take selfies. Just a few taps and a picture is taken.There are some many cool things that you can do with a Misfit that essentially it becomes your accountability partner, your assistant, and your Instagram husband.
