The Steamer That Made Me Feel Like I Have It Together
I stole this from my sister-in -law. Okay, technically, I didn’t steal this… I just stole the idea.
I know steamers aren’t exactly new, but if you’re late to the steamer train, you’re not alone. I’ve always been an iron girl. I used to iron every day, sometimes just for the satisfaction of seeing crisp lines and smooth fabric. But then I had a baby, and well… let’s just say ironing fell somewhere between “unlikely” and “absolutely not.”
Now half of my closet sits untouched because everything needs to be ironed. And honestly? Even when I have the time, I don’t have the energy to drag out the ironing board, wait for it to heat up, and pray Romy doesn’t try to grab the cord or pull it down.
A few weeks ago, I visited my brother and asked to borrow their iron. Instead, my sister-in-law handed me this little handheld steamer — this exact one.
Life. Changed.
It was quick, easy, and worked better than I expected—no bulky board, no waiting, no stress. I could freshen up a top in under two minutes — which means more time for me (and fewer excuses not to wear the cute stuff in my closet).
As soon as I got home, I ordered one immediately. I can’t gatekeep this find — you need it. It saves time, makes you look put-together, and gives you one less thing to stress about.
And that’s my kind of combo. ✨
